Something unusually large.

You can't tell very well from the picture, but this mushroom is the size of a basketball, if not larger.  I was home alone, so I had no one to sit next to it for comparison, but believe me, it was a humongous fungus! I believe I've identified it as Amanita citrina f. lavendula
But as with any mushroom identifying, it's safer to assume you are WRONG!
