Spring Has Sprung...

at least a little.  The family and I took a walk around the neighborhood, and found a few signs that it is indeed time to crawl out of our deep, dark holes and turn our faces towards the sun.  I myself am already sporting a farmers tan from the other day.  It's hard to be in a bad mood with the sun shining, the birds chirping, and the flowers blooming!

As I was dropping Miah off at school this morning, she jumped out of the Jeep to pick these for me.

Also, I'd just like to point out....THERE ARE FLOWERS!!!  YAY!!!

How Fast the Trees Leaf!

In just two weeks the trees went from "budding" to "leafed out" as Miah put it. The trees are so thick with leaves we can no longer see the neighbors across the creek, and we feel tucked in and isolated again, just the way I like it!

Signs of Spring!

It's been wonderfully warm the past few days...Already I can feel my spirits lift! Harley has been having a great time catching the Frisbee, but unfortunately I'm the only one other than her spending much time outside. We've all passed around whatever nasty thing is going around, and while I'm just getting over it with the occasional lung wrenching coughing fit, poor Laurel is just coming down with it. Miah had it first, and now Jay is running scared. Hopefully by this next weekend we will all be able to go out and enjoy the weather.
