How Fast the Trees Leaf!

In just two weeks the trees went from "budding" to "leafed out" as Miah put it. The trees are so thick with leaves we can no longer see the neighbors across the creek, and we feel tucked in and isolated again, just the way I like it!

Signs of Spring!

It's been wonderfully warm the past few days...Already I can feel my spirits lift! Harley has been having a great time catching the Frisbee, but unfortunately I'm the only one other than her spending much time outside. We've all passed around whatever nasty thing is going around, and while I'm just getting over it with the occasional lung wrenching coughing fit, poor Laurel is just coming down with it. Miah had it first, and now Jay is running scared. Hopefully by this next weekend we will all be able to go out and enjoy the weather.

Jay bought me a Nikon P90 for my Birthday

My new camera, with 16G of memory isn't the easiest to figure out. I've been playing with it for a while, it's many dials and features confusing my poor brain. These are the first pictures I've taken. I hope to find time when the leaves change color to head to the lake on post and try my luck at capturing the foliage.
