Day 1 - A picture of yourself with fifteen facts.
- I am an Army Wife.
- House cleaning is my least favorite thing to do, but I HATE the house being messy.
- I procrastinate whenever possible.
- Jay makes coffee for himself every morning, and saves the last cup for me, so that even though I don't see him in the morning, I get a little "I love you" in my Sara cup of hot coffee. Thanks Jay!
- I check facebook pretty much all day until Jay comes home, in between housework, making jewelry, and on my ipod while watching tv. Otherwise, I don't really have anyone to talk to all day.
- Miah and I have Mother/Daughter necklaces (like those best friends hearts) and she checks my neck every day to make sure I'm still wearing mine. She only takes hers off to play with the dog.
- Laurel has signed up for her freshman classes, including an AP class, and accelerated classes. Because she's awesome.
- I hope to hell we aren't here for the full four years of Laurel's high school, because I don't think I can spend that much time here with nothing to do.
- I really miss working at the Red Cross. I'd be volunteering here, but the places I could go are in scary parts of town, and I'm not willing to risk it. Murder is a weekly thing here, and in places that are very close to home, and it freaks me out. It surprises me, because we are in a great part of town!
- I am never farther than three feet from my dogs. They follow me absolutely everywhere.
- I am not a big fan of winter. It's supposed to be warm all year here, but it's snowed every winter since we got here, for the first time in 30 years. It sucks!
- The only part of my childhood I really miss is being in the Valley, and reading all day in the woods, the barn, the creek, and in the canoe on the pond. I used to devour books like potato chips. I wish I still had time to read so much.
- But when I get a chance, I do. This summer while we were in NY, I read twenty + books in one week. It was amazing!
- I love to shop at Goodwill and Antique stores, but I'm going on a semi-permanent break from them, because I don't have any room left in my house, and it's hard for me to just window shop.
- The only thing I really, really want is a big farm house, on a large farm, in the middle of absolutely no where. Preferably surrounded by woods, and hills.
