The Costumes

We FINALLY got a weekend off! Jay has never been to a fair, so we'd plan to go for some time, but we ended up going on the last weekend of the year. We saw a lot of shows, silly costumes, ate very bad for us food, and Jay and Miah got to ride an elephant (more pictures coming).
I wanted to post a lot of pictures, so I'm going to do several posts, and explain some of the pictures along the way. Enjoy! We certainly did!

Soul Wrenching

Oprah's show about dads led me to Matt's blog. I cannot even put into words the soul wrenching, heart breaking feeling I have. I spent hours today reading from the begining, and didn't want to stop even to pee. I felt like an intruder, was really, into the life of this man who has picked himself up after loosing his wife. Being no stranger to loss, I know how hard it was for him to do so...you guys have to check his site out. If only to be able to look at your spouse and be inspired to appreciate them even more.
