Spring Sprang, and I Missed It

We went to Virginia While spring came to F.L.W. but we did catch some glimpses of it on our trip. So, here ya go!  I was so excited I went a little overboard on the plant pictures.

More Awesome Jay Stuff

Back when I was still practicing for "The Odd Couple" Jay said a million times that he wasn't going to watch on opening night.  He wanted to watch the second to last performance, because he thought it would be better...So on opening night, he showed up and surprised me with tulips.  How perfectly awesome of him.

Family Visit

Mom, Aunt Wilda, and Aunt Barbara came to visit, and to see The Odd Couple.  Aunt Wilda wasn't feeling up to being out, so she missed all of the picture taking.  Jay, and Miah took "Manny and the Aunts" (as we started calling them at the theater) around post to check out some of the um...sites?  lol

Daffodils

Jay saw daffodils on the side of the road and picked 13 for me, for no particular reason. Love that guy!

Miah found this on the way home from school.  She was so excited she dragged me out of the house to show me, but not before she made me get my camera. lol

Titanic, on the 100th Anniversary

We happened to go on the day of the anniversary. 

How cool is the floor of the theater?  I love it!

Miah wanted everyone to know exactly how big the screen was.  It was so large I couldn't get the whole thing in the frame.  3D IMax is awesome!  My head did hurt pretty badly when we got out though. 

I can't even tell you how excited I was to get to watch this on the big screen again.  Laurel used to watch the second tape of the movie over and over again. The second half of the movie is where all the action is, and that's all she wanted to see.  It's strange to be with her watching it as a teenager.  I was pregnant with her when I watched this movie with Brandon Parnell, and then we took her to see it after she was born...this being her very first movie.  Amazing how the time flies, isn't it?

This thing was at least four inches long.  I didn't spot any adults all day, but we sure heard them!

That's it!  Twelve miles down the Gasconade River.  The last mile was hell, but the first eleven were great.  I can't wait to do it again.

Jay's Birthday Cake

It took about seven hours from start to finish.  My hands were seriously cramped afterwards!

I know it's been a really long time since I've blogged, AND I failed to finish the 365, but I intend to get back on the horse.  I really have no other excuse than "I'm busy" and "It's hard to get around to."  It's ridiculous, but the computer needs to be in a more convenient place for me to use it. Ironic, considering how attached I was to the thing not too long ago.
I do have the pictures to complete the 365, so I will be slowly going back and filling in the days I've missed.  We've done some cool things recently that I'd like to share.
For now, I'll leave it at this.  Jay is on his way home for lunch, so I need to get moving.  More later!

So, the haircut debate is over.  I took a picture in even! It's way too short in the back, and my hair switched personalities and decided to curl. It looks weird.  The hair in back isn't even long enough to use a flatiron, unless someone has any ideas?  It's decent from the front...I still want to cry though.

I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my hair....let it grow long again, or chop it all off.  I think that I'm going to get a trim today, and put the decision off for a little while.  I loved my hair in this picture, but I like the ease of short hair.  Help!
